Gold Coast Turf Club raceday - coast's 'mane' event |

 The Gold Coast Community are expected to saddle up and head to the Gold Coast Turf Club later this month for the biggest annual family race day of the year - the Gold Coast City Cup Raceday.
It will be held at the Bundall track on Saturday 26th August from 10:00am.
In addition to a full on-track racing program, there will be free children's entertainment including a jumping castle, face painting, clowns, pony rides, cup 'n' saucer ride and active and healthy activities.
Stage shows throughout the day will feature popular Gold Coast City Council costume characters with plenty of singing, dancing and fun for all ages.
Gold Coast Turf Club Chairman, Bill Millican, says this family event will be 'the biggest and most successful Gold Coast City Cup Raceday to date'.
"This year there is just so much to see and do, and plenty of entertainment for the kids - and best of all everything's free," Mr Millican said.
Trendy tots aged 2-12 years can enter the Pacific Fair Kids Fashions on the Field competition with great prizes up for grabs.
"The Gold Coast City Cup raceday is really becoming a great family tradition each year. A day that families can all enjoy together," Mr Millican said
"it’s a great day, we love putting it on each year and the Gold Coast Community really get behind it."
"The free courtesy buses which run from Paradise Point and Tweed Heads will run for those families in the northern and southern suburbs."
Ratepayers can bring along their Gold Coast City Cup Raceday flyer enclosed with their Council rates notices for free entry for the whole family.
