TURF CLUB 'CHOC-FULL' OF EASTER ENTERTAINMENT THIS SATURDAY

CHOCOHOLICS, young and old, are already getting 'eggs-cited' over this weekend’s Gold Coast Turf Club's Easter Saturday Family Fun Raceday (11th April).
Because of early wet weather predictions, the packed program of Easter entertainment will happen undercover in the Club’s Sports Bar.
Children will be well and truly entertained with free kids entertainment from 10:00am – 3:00pm with a mechanical surfboard, pony rides, an animal farm, face painting and costumed characters.
There will also be a jumping castle and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself.
According to Turf Club CEO, John Cameron, the Easter Saturday Raceday is one of the Club's major family events for the year.
"We’ve moved the activities undercover so the day will go ahead regardless of the weather and we expect it to be just or bigger than previous years,” Mr Cameron said.
“The raceday is always popular because it has free all-day entertainment, rides, chocolate and of course – the Easter Bunny.
“Parents are also entertained with a full on-track racing program and plenty of dining options.
“Over the past decade the raceday has become a Gold Coast Easter family tradition and we look forward to welcoming everyone along on Saturday," Mr Cameron said.
The gates will open at 10:00am and entry for adults is $7.00, pensioners are $3.50 and children under 18 years of age are free.
