RACING IN TO SPRING

After another successful Carlton Draught Prime Minister’s Cup Raceday on Saturday 2 May, the Gold Coast Turf Club has begun preparations for the 2009 Melbourne Cup Day. With exciting live entertainment and great action on track, the Coast will be expecting another bumper crowd on Tuesday 3 November.
Dining packages have recently been released for those eager to reserve their seat for the “Race that Stops the Nation.” The popular Dome is available in tables of ten and sees guests enjoying a spectacular seafood buffet and selected beverage package from 11:30am – 5:30pm. Relax in the comfort of the air-conditioned Dome and catch the action of the races from the private manicured lawn. Join racing and fashion enthusiasts in the exclusive Board Room situated on Level 2 with stunning views of the track and Surfers Paradise skyline. The private function room, usually playing host to the Club’s Directors’ and VIPs, will be open for public bookings this Melbourne Cup and guests will be treated to a 4 course plated and buffet menu and premium beverage package from only $275 per person.
Enjoy the Spring Racing Carnival in the Skyline Gold for a unique corporate experience. The two day package consists of Saturday 10 October, Caulfield Guineas Day and Tuesday 3 November, Melbourne Cup Day. Book your table of 6 or 8 and enjoy butler service with your choice from our beverage list, along with gourmet delicacies.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

If Melbourne Cup is too far away, why not join the Club and celebrate Christmas in July with your friends and colleagues on Saturday 11 July. Book your ticket for only $55 per person and receive entry to the racecourse, entry to the “Christmas themed” Dome, a special Christmas buffet with whole baked Virginia leg ham and supreme of roast turkey plus a drink on arrival and live DJ from 2pm.
